Meet Brian Carson!
BRANCH MANAGER
LOAN OFFICER
NMLS# 129691
My Professional Journey
My path to becoming a loan officer is deeply rooted in my family’s real estate background. My father, a Realtor for 53 years, introduced me to the world of real estate from a very young age. Attending listing appointments and listening to contract discussions were common experiences for me growing up. Surrounded by my father’s close friends, many of whom were loan officers and even company owners, I was inspired to pursue a career in this field.
In 1992, at the age of 20, I began my journey as a processor during a refinance boom when rates were at 6.25%. I quickly learned the business and developed a knack for helping loan officers structure deals. I dabbled in underwriting, but my true passion lay in sales, and I naturally transitioned into that role while maintaining a deep appreciation for operations.
My Passion and Dedication
I am passionate about cultures and learning. I am dedicated to understanding my clients’ backgrounds, motivations, and aspirations. I excel in transforming their dreams into actionable plans, always striving to turn a “no” into a “delayed yes.” For me, every client’s dream of homeownership is achievable.
Most Rewarding Aspect
The most rewarding aspect of being a loan officer is the impact I make. I cherish the positive changes I bring to my clients’ lives, as well as the lives of my business partners, Realtors, and builders. I find immense satisfaction in knowing that my solutions help clients build generational wealth through housing.
My Personal Life
My wife, Dina, and I have been married for 26 years, and we have two children, Alex and Reagan. We reside in Charlotte, NC, where I was born and raised. I have witnessed Charlotte’s transformation from a small southern banking city to the second-largest financial district in the United States. Despite its growth, Charlotte remains a wonderful place to raise a family and offers vibrant sports venues and a thriving food scene.
Community Involvement
I love the balance Charlotte offers between metropolitan amenities and southern charm. I am deeply involved in the community and enjoy the city’s sports culture. As a rabid North Carolina State Wolfpack fan, my family and I regularly attend football and basketball games in Raleigh. We also support the Carolina Panthers and cherish our tailgating tradition with long-time friends.
Hobbies and Interests
In my downtime, I enjoy sports, traveling in our family motorhome, and spending time at the beach. I love cookouts and pool time with family and friends, and have a passion for renovating older homes in the Charlotte area. My dedication to family, community, and continuous learning defines both my personal and professional life.
