He built a 20-year career in mortgage banking — earning a bachelor's, master's, and doctorate along the way — before co-founding New Story Lending to help others break the same barriers he once faced.

Juan Rodas
Juan was born in Falls Church, Virginia, the son of Ecuadorian immigrants, and grew up understanding both hardship and hard work firsthand. He started at the bottom of the mortgage industry as a file room clerk and worked his way up before co-founding New Story Lending — living proof that a new story can be written from any starting point.

Betsy Youngblood
A Georgia native with over 30 years in the mortgage industry, Betsy built her career in underwriting before moving into operations leadership — bridging production and operations so growth never comes at the cost of quality. Outside of work she's a mother of three and an avid gardener.
Chris Fiorello
Chris brings 21 years of mortgage experience across sales, underwriting, processing, and compliance, drawing on both sides of the business to resolve issues in ways that work for everyone involved. He lives in Alabama with his two teenagers and two dogs.

Born and raised in the DFW metroplex, Mitch has over 10 years of experience across pricing strategy, interest rate hedging, and secondary market loan sales, and leads New Story's capital markets strategy today.

Shannon brings over a decade of exclusive mortgage marketing experience, helping loan officers maximize their impact through effective, creative storytelling, and keeping the New Story Lending brand consistently well represented.
